The following letter was sent, along with a newspaper clipping, to Cynthia's parents:

November 4, 2002

Dear Mildred and Howard,

  This is the article I told you about in The Catholic Telegraph . Fr. Nicklas [who gave an endorsement] is one of the chaplains at Good Samaritan Hospital. Jim and I have known him for years. I feel certain Cynthia has already seen this article, but just in case she has not, please give it to her.

  I think the book is excellent, and before I finished all of it I gave it to a young woman who lost her 21 year old son in an auto accident. My daughter, Julie, went to school with this boy's mom. I told her I would like it back. I think it is priceless for those who have lost a loved one.
